Molyta Consulting is headed by our president, Monica L. Tarver. Ms. Tarver has a wealth of knowledge in the commercialization of healthcare products for the biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to becoming the president of Molyta Consulting, Ms. Tarver successfully developed and marketed products for AxoGen, Inc., Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Some of Ms. Tarver’s successful launches have been the first in class Avance® Nerve Graft for the reconstruction of peripheral nerves (AxoGen, Inc.), PROCEED® Surgical Mesh for hernia repair (Ethicon, Inc. a Johnson & Johnson Company), and Abilify®, a novel antipsychotic (Bristol-Myers Squibb).
Ms. Tarver has successfully developed key opinion leaders. She has motivated them to change treatment paradigms in the areas of peripheral nerve repair, cardiovascular surgery, and mental illness. She has proven expertise in defining customer needs, developing strong branding, and compelling messaging.
Monica has a MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Chemistry from Howard University.
